Surprisingly in all the years we’ve been riding around Europe we’ve never really toured in Germany. This year we decided to right this wrong. Our destination would be Salzburg in northwestern Austria and our route out would take us through the Ardennes in southeast Belgium and across Bavaria. After a couple of days spent riding some new roads we’d make our way home with our return trip taking us through the Vosges mountains in eastern France.
So for our thirteenth tour it would be Phil BMW R1200 GSA, Taj Kawasaki ZZR 1400 and Kyle Kawasaki Versys 1000 LT. Our 9 day trip would see us ride 12 different mountain passes and roads, and cover 2,700 miles.
